Her espresso catering service provides high quality espressos and coffees, and boasts a variety of mouth-watering desserts. A treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds, their visual presentation captivates with its Baroque decadence. It should come as no surprise that Bon Cafetit! is so popular in California among its wide range of clientele.

VA: Can you tell us a little about yourself?

GS: My name is Gayane Smsaryan. I’m the CEO and owner of Bon Cafetit! From a young age, it was my dream to start my own company. I earned a degree in business management. I’m always striving to be the best at what I do. What can I say? I’m passionate about the business!

VA: Can you describe your business? 

GS: Bon Cafetit! provides a huge range of services: espresso bar, smoothie bar, Italian soda bar, cannoli cart, crepe station, chocolate fountains, fruit, and candy stations. Bon Cafetit! is a mobile catering company for events of any size and type. Our unrivaled flexibility allows us to match any theme and special request.

VA: How long have you been in business? 

GS: I’ve been in the industry for 17 years.

VA: What got you into the espresso bar catering service?

GS: My husband and I worked at a cafe during our college years. It was then that we discovered our passion for coffee. We had the opportunity to own a coffee kiosk inside the famous NBC Studio in Burbank, California where we quickly learned how lucrative the business could be. Soon after, Bon Cafetit! was born.

VA: How do you market Bon Cafetit! ?

GS: We promote Bon Cafetit! through different avenues of social media and magazines. We also get involved with various bridal shows, profit/non profit corporate events, and galas. We work with some of the most well known event coordinators and high-end venues. People are so thrilled with our service at these events that they tell their friends all about us. Many of our clients come to us through referrals. We also have to thank AVGN Systems (http://www.avgns.com) for providing web development, graphic design, and online social media services.

VA: Who are your customers?

GS: We reach a wide range of customers – pretty much anyone who enjoys high quality service, hospitality, luxury, and the desire to make their event fantasies into a reality.

VA: Why do your customers select you over your competitors?

GS: Bon Cafetit! is all about stunning presentation, the finest quality of flavor, and world class customer service. We hire very knowledgeable and courteous experts who have a passion for this business and are sensitive to the specific needs of our clients.

VA: What are the biggest issues for running this business?

GS: In a market that is saturated with similar catering services, we are constantly striving to be ten steps ahead of our competition. We are constantly throwing around ideas for innovation, which is important because a successful business should never become stagnant.

VA: Where do you see your business in the next five years?

GS: We had a modest start, but in five years we envision our business becoming the biggest in the industry, all while maintaining the high standards that make Bon Cafetit! so special.

VA: How did you discover Servicejoy?

GS: At first it was a struggle trying to handle the bookkeeping; It was tedious task that took time away from other very important aspects of our business. So we set out to look for a solution.
